Meeting in Liepāja to practically implement project 

The article highlights a successful meeting at Liepāja State Technical College involving international guests focused on entrepreneurship education and collaboration within the Erasmus+ project.

          At the end of April, entrepreneurship teachers, students and project coordinators from Latvia, Lithuania, the Netherlands and Turkey met at Liepāja State Technical College within the Erasmus+ project "Entrepreneurship Education for VET Schools". The main aim of the meeting was to introduce the partners to the educational opportunities at LVT, the teaching methods used and how entrepreneurship is integrated into the curriculum. The guests were introduced to the 19 professions that can be studied at LVT and were given a tour of the various classrooms and practical
laboratories.

          During the five days, the participants also had the opportunity to catch inspiration from various organizations and entrepreneurs in Liepaja. During the week, not only entrepreneurship teachers and students of Liepāja State
Technical School shared their experience with the guests, but also Senior HSE and Compliance Specialist at "Circle K"; Agnese Džigune, former Latvian 3x3 women basketball team player, youth development coach Kristīna Petermane, Development Platform YOU+ manager Andris Kāposts, informal education trainer, "Draugiem.lv"; first programmer, entrepreneur Mārtiņš Īviņš, psychologist and entrepreneur Anna Vītola, as well as entrepreneur, graphic designer and BMX freestyle trainer Roberts Klēpis. During the visit to the project, participants visited LIAA Liepaja Business Incubator, Impact Hub Business Incubator and AE Partners Ltd. Thank you to all the representatives of the organizations for their response and contribution to the implementation of the project activities!
